John Robert Dobbs, 18, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008, near the Franklin Creek community east of Moss Point. He was a senior at Pascagoula High School.
Born Oct. 23, 1989, in Jackson, Miss., to John E. and Margaret Willingham Dobbs of Pascagoula, he had been a resident of Pascagoula since 1991.
John Robert would have graduated with honors May 23 with his class. He worked part-time for Burnham Drugs in Moss Point, and was a worship leader a Central Church of Christ. John Robert gave his life to Christ at age 9 while attending summer camp.
He loved being a camper at Gulf Coast Bible Camp and had attended for many years. He had
many wonderful friends and will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his parents, sister Nicole Holland and her husband Robert of Pascagoula, paternal grandparents Harold and Pamela Duet of Waggaman, La.; maternal grandparents James and Ollie Sue Willingham of Ruleville, Miss.; niece Clarie Willingham
and a nephew Blake Holland.
Funeral services were held at Calvary Baptist Church in Pascagoula with Al Sturgeon officiating. Interment was at Lehrton Cemetery in Ruleville.
Pallbearers were Robert Holland, Joel Jordan, Jordan Dupree, Jessie Bosarge, Patrick Kimball and Colton Vice.
