LONG BEACH -- Kenzley Rae and Kristianna Rae Gillis died Dec. 19, 2010. The twins, who were six days old, were born Dec. 13, 2010.
Survivors include their parents, Kenny and Amy Armstrong Gillis, brother Steven Gac, grandparents John and Ann Armstrong and Joe and Barbara Gillis, great grandmother Shirley Russell, aunt Andrea (Bill) Elenbaas, uncle Chris (Claire) Armstrong, and cousins Maggie, Zoe Allie and Max.
A special thank you goes to the staff of the labor and delivery department and neonatal intensive care unit at USA Children's and Women's Hospital in Mobile, Ala., and good friend Shayla Switzer.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at the First United Methodist Church at 201 Pine Street in Long Beach. Funeral services are scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 24, 2010, at the church with burial at Gulf Pines Cemetery in Long Beach.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 1626 Springhill Avenue, Mobile, AL 36604.
Riemann Family Funeral, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach, is in charge of arrangements.
