12-year-old Dies During Hayride

WOOLMARKET (Oct. 25) -- Jeremy Kirby was reportedly killed this weekend when he fell from a hayride and was accidentally run over, according to television and newspaper reports.

The death of the 12-year-old, son of Pastor Eddie Kirby, occurred during the annual Trunk or Treat celebration at First United Methodist Church of Biloxi.

Compassionate Friends of Leakesville, 7 p.m. first Tuesday each month at Faith Presbyterian Church, 1300 Mississippi St., Leakesville, MS 39451. Anyone who has lost a child, grandchild or sibling from the surrounding counties is welcome to come to the meetings. We are a bereaved parents self-help support group.
