PASCAGOULA -- Terry Durward Logan, 20, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010. He was born Feb. 14, 1990.
A native of Pascagoula, he graduated from Pascagoula High School in 2008, then moved to Hahnville, La., where he was pursuing a career in electrical construction management, working for Ardent Services throughout the Gulf Coast area, while studying construction management at University of New Orleans and online via International Technical Institute.
Terry was a member of Church on the Rock in Pascagoula for many years before moving to Louisiana, where he continued to serve the Lord at Covenant Church with Jessie Duplantis Ministries. He accepted Christ on May 13, 2001, was an avid believer in sowing seed into God's kingdom, missionary work, serving people, and helping out anyone in need.
Terry was preceded in death by grandparents Durward (Maggie) Scott.
Terry is survived by mother Shirley (Scott) Brehm, father Gary Keith Logan, and brother Mark Ford Logan. He was a special and adored stepson to Dale R. Brehm and Jeannie Hoten-Logan.
Terry also leaves to cherish his memories a special mentor, Tommy Usry; cousin and devoted friend Rebecca Scott; grandparents Terry (Dorothy) Scott Sr., Sheryl Scott, Barbara Logan Albert; uncles and aunts Terry (Terrie) Scott Jr., Mike (Allison) Scott, Howard (Rosalyn) Seab, James (Dandy) Smith, Bobby (Karen) Logan, Kenny (Penny) Logan.
Terry’s hobbies were laughing and ribbing his brother, scuba diving, snow skiing, snowboarding, canoeing, tubing, and serving people.
Visitation and services will be held Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, from noon until 2:30 p.m. at Church On the Rock, 3901 Chicot St., Pascagoula, Miss. Cemetery services will follow at Serene Memorial Gardens in Moss Point.
Honorary pall bearers Tommy Usry, Blackie Tillman, Robbie Broome, Trey Powell, Ryan Smith, Micah Lee.
A catered event will be held immediately after the cemetery services for all funeral attendants. The location will be announced at the memorial service. Residents are asked to bring lawn chairs.
