Anniversary of Memories Always

April 28 made the second anniversary of this MemoriesAlways blog.

Thanks to the visitors who have viewed these pages and taken solace in the memories of loved ones. We hope they have been of comfort to someone.

We welcome your feelings and comments about any young person -- infant to age 25-- listed on this blog. As well, we would love to include any photos that family and friends would add to these life memories.

It is not the intention of MemoriesAlways to add to the grief of any family who has lost a child. If there is an objection to any specific listing, please let personnel at MemorieAlways know and the information may be corrected, updated or removed.

We do ask that any request for removal come from an immediate family member, and verification of that person be made with the owner of this blog.

However, the public is asked to help make known any error, clarification or update of any information found on this site. Please provide name, address and contact information, as well as updated contacts for family members (mail, phone, e-mail, etc.)

Celebrate Recovery, a 12-step Bible-based and worldwide group open to adults who have hurts, hangups, habits and addictions -- 6:15 p.m. every Thursday at Cedar Lake Christian Assembly, 11555 Cedar Lake Road in Biloxi, with free supper and meeting. Compassionate Friends of Leakesville, 7 p.m. first Tuesday each month at Faith Presbyterian Church, 1300 Mississippi St., Leakesville, MS 39451. Anyone who has lost a child, grandchild or sibling from the surrounding counties is welcome to come to the meetings. We are a bereaved parents self-help support group. GriefShare, a 13-week recovery support group for those who have experienced the death of a loved one, meets at 6 p.m. each Thursday in the fellowship hall of First United Methodist Church in Pascagoula. The church is located at 2710 Pascagoula St. Contact 762-5222.
Mississippi Gulf Coast Chapter of Compassionate Friends, 6:30 to 8 p.m. first Tuesday each month, meeting room at St. Martin Public Library, 15004 Lemoyne Blvd., Biloxi.
